So, you collect and use someone’s personal data, but what do you need to tell that person about the processing?

Quite a lot! Most businesses will gather and use someone’s personal data, e.g. customers, suppliers, staff, etc. and you have a legal duty to tell them what data you need, why you need it, and what you will be doing with it. This is often called a privacy notice and is one of the key documents you must have under GDPR. If you don’t yet have one, or it is out of date, or you’re not sure if it is GDPR compliant then this workshop is for you.

You will find out what needs to be included in a privacy notice, see examples of good and bad privacy notices, and what happens if you get it wrong.
