AmaDablam was created as part of our journey to support the rebuilding and growth of rural schools in Nepal, after two devastating earthquakes in 2015. We carefully source beautiful cashmere accessories and other gifts from small family run wholesalers in Nepal, where the makers and designers work in a safe environment and receive a fair wage for their work.
Cashmere production skills are passed from generation to generation in Nepal, where the goats are combed by hand every Spring. Our travel wraps and ponchos can be dyed to any colour and we supply both retail and trade.
We are passionate about improving the quality of life for communities and individuals in Nepal and we share our profits amongst a rural school in Rasuwa District, which we helped to build, Basundhara Ghmire and her daughter Rubi in Thamel and other rural education projects.
